Dichroic glass used here was personally made by me.
Started by making a brick of glass. After firing, a saw is used to cut the glass brick into various size and shaped pieces. Top edges are rounded using a grinder. The piece is then re-fired. A time consuming process BUT the results are ALWAYS well worth the time required! Build on an aventurine green background adds sparkles throughout this piece of dichroic glass. Shades of green, brown and blue can be seen. Wrapped in sterling silver wire in more of a free floating design.
Dichroic glass piece measures 42 mm x 21 mm. Finished size of pendant is 63 mm x 33 mm. Weight is 0.4 oz.
